Australia Koala Reserve

Not far from Melbourne, Australia, is the Koala Conservation Reserve, on Phillip Island.  There are a bunch of koalas living “in their natural habitat” (not sure about that, but that’s another discussion for another time).  It’s a great place to see koalas up close and personal, as well as a few wallabies and other assorted animals that don’t appear too often in Andover, MN.

Also on Phillip Island is the Penguin Parade, which is another must-see.  Unfortunately, since photos aren’t allowed at the Penguin Parade, you’ll have to just imagine them coming onto shore from the ocean at night.  It’s very cool.
