Dolomites

We spent some time in the Dolomites (a mountain range in northeast Italy) in 2024. To say these mountains are impressive is a massive understatement.

We started our journey in Bologna, then went to Cortina d'Ampezzo. From there, we spent a couple of days in Ortisei, and then a couple more in Madonna di Campiglio, before ending the trip in Milan.

The jagged peaks are eye-popping, the hikes show something new and amazing at every turn, the food and drink are wonderful, and the people are very friendly. The area hosted the XXV Olympic Winter Games in February, 2026.
