When we went to Norway, one of the activities we did was a fjord boat cruise. We left from the Zachariasbryggen wharf in Bergen, and went in the Osterfjord as well as the Mostraumen straits.
This might be the most beautiful area I've ever seen. As we got closer to the end, before the turnaround point in the cruise, the water became quite "glassy." We later learned that this is highly unusual, that there are most often winds or other boats making waves or wakes. One of the things I wanted to do was make sure I took the time to enjoy the beauty, and not be too focused on making photographs (pun intended).
The geometry teacher in me found the reflections fascinating and mesmerizing. For this reason, all the photos in this gallery are photos of reflections seen on the fjord boat cruise. Some of the pictures are similar to others in the gallery, but as they say about snowflakes, no two are alike.
There are no words to describe the beauty of this area, so I present the photos with no additional commentary. Please take your time and enjoy!
